A+ ON THE TEST: A BOOK OR CHARACTER THAT MAKES YOU SMILE?
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I feel like I lived that book being a nerd who reads fic and used to write it! I loved Levi and how he is so accepting of Cath. And the way he called her Cather just melted my heart!
SPORTS TEAM: A FICTIONAL FAMILY THAT YOU WANT TO BE A PART OF?
The Curtis family from the Outsiders. I like the idea of having 3 rough and tough older brothers. I don’t however like the idea of not having parents….
CLASS PRESIDENT: A BOOK THAT TRIES TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Milk and Honey
HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEART: A BOOK CHARACTER YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON?
PROM NIGHT: A BOOK WITH A BEAUTIFUL COVER?
Matterhorn by Karl Marlantes
SPRING BREAK: A BOOK YOU CAN ALWAYS TURN TO WHEN YOU NEED AN ESCAPE?
SCHOOL LUNCH: A BOOK CHARACTER(S) YOU WANT TO HAVE LUNCH WITH?
Max from The Book Thief
HALLOWEEN PARTY: A CHARACTER YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE FOR ONE DAY?
Not a fictional character, but I would want to be a Navy Seal for a day. I just finished reading No Easy Day by Mark Owens and it was so fast paced and exciting that I would want to experience the brutal training, conditioning, and thrill of being a SEAL for a day.
SCHOOL BULLY: A VILLAIN YOU DON’T WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL WITH?
Evangeline from Red Queen. This girl was brutal, conniving, and just plain dirty when it came to playing by the rules.
GRADUATION: A BOOK WITH A BITTERSWEET CONCLUSION?
I just remember reading The Crucible and feeling sad and bittersweet. OTHERS include: Me Before You, Looking for Alaska, The Fault in Our Stars, and The Outsiders. I generally don’t get a lot of closure when closing a book….CURSES!
